Ms. Chamsuk has been working as a programme officer for UNIDO Regional Office in Thailand since 2008. Her responsibilities have ranged from engagements with United Nations Country Team to project’s design to resource mobilization. She collaborates with other UN agencies- such as UNESCAP and UNDG- at the regional level on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related work. She is specialized in formulation of projects aiming to achieve low-emission-sustainable development which includes clean energy, climate change mitigation, environmental and chemicals management for sustainable development, and sustainable production and consumption (SCP), for countries including Cambodia, Laos PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand.
Prior to join UNIDO she worked for UNDP’s Regional Centre in Bangkok, as a programme officer on sustainable energy during 2004-2008. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chiang Mai University, Thailand and a Master’s degree in Energy for Sustainable Development from Salford University, the United Kingdom and Graduate Certificate on Energy for Sustainable Development from Lund University (2005, in collaboration with UNDP).
